Behavior apps in 2026, without the inflated ranking
“Best” depends on the job. A chore game, a classroom story feed, and a consequence list are not the same product. This page describes three options families actually compare, using what those products say about themselves and prices that were publicly visible. It is not a test of which one makes children happier, and it is not a ranking of clinical outcomes.
ConsequenceWheel
Available now: a free wheel on the web. You set a child’s name and age, edit suggested consequences, and spin. An optional second spin picks an amount inside a range you chose. A private discipline log and behavior tracker are planned and not launched. No subscription price is published because none is set. Suggestions include a parent-chosen spanking slice for about ages 2–18 that you can turn off. They exclude food deprivation and humiliation.
Joon
Joon describes quests a parent assigns and a virtual pet a child cares for after those quests are approved. Public descriptions in 2026 put the free tier at up to 7 verified tasks a day, with Premium at $12.99 a month or from $89.99 a year. Confirm the current number in the store. The focus is rewards and routines, not a list of consequences.
ClassDojo
ClassDojo says the core experience for messaging, class points, and class story updates is free. ClassDojo Plus is an optional family subscription. ClassDojo’s Plus page describes extras such as progress reports, homework help, and stories, and it does not print a single monthly price. The U.S. App Store listing has shown several Plus prices, roughly in the $7 to $11 a month neighborhood, plus an annual option. Treat that as a range that moves, and read the price at checkout. Plus is built around school life at home. It is not a private household consequence plan.
| ConsequenceWheel | Joon | ClassDojo | |

How to choose
Choose Joon if a game is what gets chores started. Choose ClassDojo if the teacher is already using it and you want the family extras. Choose the wheel if the hard moment is deciding a fair, related limit you already discussed. You can use a reward for the skill and a short consequence for the miss. Do not expect one app to be all three.
